Choosing a Toronto Hotel

There are several things that one has to look for when choosing their hotel accommodations. Below is a checklist of the top three things to consider when choosing a Toronto hotel.

  • Cleanliness: This is important. There is nothing worse than getting to a hotel and being afraid to use the facilities in the room.
  • Location: What will you be doing once you get to Toronto? Try to find a Toronto hotel that brings you closest to the majority of what you will doing there once you arrive.
  • Hotel Rates: Are you working on a limited budget or is money no object? If you chose the latter then you will have an array of choices. If not, there are several Toronto hotels that are affordable for the average person.

    I've not stayed in many Toronto hotels but in other hotels in the country I dont think there was a charge for local calls–except at one hotel in Vancouver where it was stated in bold letters on the phone. Perhaps if you can include the other things that just weren't up to par(i.e. dirty microwave). Good luck with it and keep me posted. You could also cc a letter to their head office!
